Results from Regionals 2013

This year Bangor had 18 students compete in Regionals in the following events. Students with * qualified to compete at State. 

    Advocacy: with their Project to "End the R-Word" Alyson Wilcox* and Alex Kershner*

    Basic Kitchen and Math Test: Trygve Anderson* and Sam Johnson. 

    Chapter Service Project Manual: Amanda Clements*

    Children's Literature: Elizabeth Nicolai*

    Creed Speaking: Zoey Dolan*

    Culinary Creations: Ari Hundt* and Jaclynn Freit* 

    Interpersonal Communications: Bethany Martin* and Aspen Zimmer*

    Pastries and Baked Goods: Gunnar Horstman* and Wyatt McDonald*

    National Programs in Action: Jordan Tallman

    Nutrition and Wellness: Kellen Kravik*

    Recycle and Redesign: Ben Olson*

    Teach and Train: Sawyer Johnson* and Rachel Douglas


Results from the State FCCLA 2012

Bangor Middle/High School FCCLA attended the 2012 state leadership contest in the Kalahari April 23rd -25th.

Bangor is full of remarkable students. Bangor Middle/High School FCCLA Chapter had students compete in a total of 7 events. We left the competition with 4 gold rankings and all the gold ranked students were number one in their events. In the other three events the students received silver rankings.

National Qualifiers

Nutrition and Wellness Senior- Emilie Anderson ...Gold Ranking

Nutrition and Wellness Junior- Jordan Tallman...Gold Ranking

    Wisconsin State Top Award- The students that competed in these events were number one in their category. However these events the students are not eligible to qualify for Nationals. 

Children's Literature- Jaclynn Freit....Gold Ranking  

Basic Kitchen Terminology and Math- Gunnar Horstman ...Gold Ranking

Silver Rankings

Hospitality, and Tourism- Nick Hesse, Rachel Douglas and Lynzi Schurhammer 

Focus on Children- Aspen Zimmer, Alyson Wilcox, and Kirsten Tenner
Job Interview- Sawyer Johnson
