It's A Great Day To Be A Bangor Cardinal!

I am excited to begin my 2nd year in the Bangor School District. In addition to teaching 6th and 8th grade Science at Bangor Middle School, I will also teach a 7th grade Science Exploration class this year. I joined the Bangor School District as a Science teacher in August of 2017.  I previously taught Science for 14 years in Mauston, WI. I graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1995. I then went to the University of Wisconsin- LaCrosse where I received my Bachelor's Degree with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I loved school so much, I went right back and earned my Master of Education-Professional Development from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse.

I believe 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Science provides an opportunity for all students to learn about the world around them. The content of the classes is driven by  in-depth discussions, hands on experiments, and student projects. Through these lessons, students learn to develop their skills of curiosity, problem solving, organization, cooperation, and perseverance.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and cooking.
