Open Enroll in the Bangor School District

    Wisconsin’s inter-district public school open enrollment program allows parents to apply for their children to attend school districts other that the one in which they live.  The open enrollment application period for the 2012-2013 school year is February 6 through April 30, 2012. The application period ends at 4:00 p.m. on April 30, 2012. Early and late applications will not be accepted.  Parents must apply to the non-resident school district for each child they wish to open enroll.  Applications may be submitted to not more than three public school districts per student.

 

There are two ways to apply for open enrollment:

  • You may fill out and submit the application on-line (Department of Public instruction preferred method). Parents may access the Department of Public Instruction on-line application using the following link: http://dpi.wi.gov/sms/psctoc.htmlThis form will be operational beginning on Monday, February 6 and will shut down exactly at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, April 30, 2012.
  • Submit a paper application form to the nonresident school district (see instructions on the form). You may obtain a form from any school district, or you may download the form from the DPI School Management Services Homepage:  www.dpi.state.wi.us/sms.
