ANNOUNCEMENTS

MONDAY, APRIL 29, 2019

Attention Students: Due to high school testing this week, we will be running an 8-1, BT schedule on Thursday, May 2nd.

There will be an NHS meeting on Wednesday in Mrs. Schmitz's room during BIG Time.

There will be a FFA meeting today during BIG Time to elect next year's officer, and also to vote for FFA Sweetheart, Cream of the Crop, and Friend of the FFA.

Current freshman, sophomores, and juniors - your course registration forms are due this Wednesday by the end of the day! If you have any questions, please talk to Ms. Schulz.

Let's celebrate the first day of May this Wednesday.  Wear your bright colors, pastels, or flowery prints to celebrate May Day.  

Cardinal Summer Scholarships applications are available in the office and were sent out in Friday Folders.  Scholarships are available to any students kindergarten through grade 11 who attended Bangor Schools this year and are attending an academic related camp this summer.  Applications are May 3rd.

COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY

The Bangor Booster Club is looking for volunteers for the Sectional Track Meet on May 23rd to work in the concession stand.  There is a sign up sheet posted on Mrs. Horstman's Door (Room 404) if you are interested.

SPORTS

The Bangor Rec Department has a sign-up sheet in the office for any student interested in being an umpire this summer for youth softball and baseball. You can umpire for community service hours or get paid for this service.

The girls softball team defeated Cashton last Friday night 8-5. Aliyah Langrehr had a double and triple driving in 3 runs. Madeline Janisch had a triple driving in 3 runs. Madison Brownell earned the win striking out 5 batters. 

Please release the middle school track team at 2:20 today for their meet at Kickapoo.

Today’s Lunch:Bakalar’s Hot Dog on a Whole Grain Bun with a side of Mac n’ Cheese or Creamy Mac n’ Cheese or Bacon Mac with Italian Breadsticks, and Green Peas.  Tuesday’s BreakfastSausage, Egg & Cheese Breakfast Pocket.  Tuesday’s LunchFrench Toast Sticks with Sausage Links or Turkey Sub, and Warm Cinnamon Apples.
