Congratulations to the Bangor High School Musicians who advanced to the State Solo/Ensemble Festival which was held this past Saturday at Viterbo University. The following received a second rating on their solo or ensemble performance: High School Woodwind Ensemble, Molly Bachmann sax solo, Nathan Crenshaw tuba solo, Lauren Kadrmas & Madysen Herman vocal duet, McKenna Riley sax solo, Justin Wiggins vocal and musical theater solos, Olivia Wuensch vocal solo and Talon Zager vocal solo. The following received first ratings: Molly Bachmann & Lauren Kadrmas Flute/sax duet, Brianna Bores flute solo, Blake Groth vocal solo, Jadyn Larson & Kiara Heydenrych vocal duet, McKenna Riley & Jadyn Larson sax duet, Kaitlyn Solberg sax solo, Nathanael Wiggins vocal solo & the High School Percussion Ensemble. Well Done Bangor High School Musicians!

Attention any FFA members involved in food for America: We will be having a meeting during Big Time on Wednesday in the Ag Room. We will be going over the schedule, please plan on being there.
The new PBIS Challenge has started!
This challenge will run for the next three weeks. Middle Schoolers, make sure you have all needed materials for class so you don't get any UPCs. High Schoolers, be sure you are on time for each hour to avoid any tardies.
There will be a High School Student Council meeting this Friday in Mrs. Lueck's room.
This week's Character Dare is centered around commitment. Commitment is defined as the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause. Your dare is to be committed to having a positive attitude all day. When you are annoyed or frustrated or bored, choose to find the positive. Choose to be upbeat, patient, and kind.
Wednesday, May 8 is Scrabble Day: Organize a large group of friends to spell out something by putting letters on your shirts. Let's see whose group get get the most scrabble points.
Tomorrow's bike trip has been postponed until May 30th.
COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY
The Bangor Booster Club is looking for volunteers for the Sectional Track Meet on May 23rd to work in the concession stand. There is a sign up sheet posted on Mrs. Horstman's Door (Room 404) if you are interested.
The softball team collected 16 hits as they defeated Brookwood last night 15-4. Hannah Crenshaw had 4 hits, Jadyn Larson, Aliyah Langrehr, and Madeline Janisch each had 3 hits on the night.
Please release the middle school track meet at 2:20 today for their meet at Royall.
The trap shooting team will take a team picture on Wednesday during BIG Time. Please report to BIG Time for attendance and then to the cafetorium for the picture.
The Bangor Rec Department has a sign-up sheet in the office for any student interested in being an umpire this summer for youth softball and baseball. You can umpire for community service hours or get paid for this service.
