The Bangor High School/Middle School CTE Students of the Month for December 2019 are: High School: Samuel Wittmershaus (son of Paul and Jeri Wittmershaus) Middle School: Andrew Schaub (son of Michael and Julie Schaub) Career and Technical Education includes Family & Consumer Education, Agriculture Education, Technology Education and Business & Information Technology. Students were chosen based on excellent work in the classroom and related student organizations.

Bangor High School held a Blood Drive on Wednesday, December 18th. The drive yielded 80 blood donations which included 10 staff donors and 13 student donors. The next drive is Wednesday, March 11th in the HS gym!

Nature's Recipe, Bangor Elementary's Outdoor School Site is Celebrating 25 Years! 4th grade students are studying WI Native Prairie flowers, plants, leaves, and grasses together in Nature's Recipe. The task for the day was to locate and compare all the different shades of green. They were amazed and eyes were opened to the power of observation. Students will be collecting seeds in the next few weeks so they can plant some in their own gardens and fields.

The Bangor School District is looking for a full-time custodian for 2nd shift at Bangor Elementary School. Experience is preferred but not necessary. Hours are 2:30 to 11, Monday through Friday, during the school year, and 7 to 3:30 during the summer. Some overtime involved. Duties include general housekeeping, light maintenance, event set-up and teardown. Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. Candidate must also be physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds. Ability to effectively communicate and build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents is a must. Salary commensurate with experience.
