Middle School students who go outside for recess are to take their lunch box with them. You can store them on the benches under the high school entrance canopy. Then you can grab them on your way back from recess. However, the doors to the commons WILL NOT be open for students to re-enter the building after recess. All students outside will re-enter through the middle school entrance. Those doors will unlock when the bell rings.
Tomorrow is the annual Wisconsin Great Apple Crunch Event. This event was established to celebrate National Farm to School Month by collectively purchasing and crunching into locally grown apples on Thursday, October 9th. The apples are from Sunrise Orchards in Gays Mills, WI and were sourced through the WI Food Hub Coop. We hope you enjoy crunching on your apple with your lunch. Please share pictures of you crunching into your apples so we can share them on social media. Pictures can be sent to jreigel@bangorsd.net.
Tomorrow everyone is encouraged to wear pink! Bangor Varsity Volleyball will be hosting a dual against New Lisbon & Necedah. First match starts at 5pm. In addition, the volleyball program will be selling raffle tickets for their basket drawings. They will also be doing a Miracle Minute at the start of each match. All the proceeds will go to Sunshine and the Trail which helps our local community and staff battling cancer.
Attention Students: There are sign-up sheets in the office for MS Wrestling, 7th Grade Boys Basketball, 8thGrade Boys Basketball, HS Wrestling, HS Gymnastics, HS Girls Hockey, and HS Boys Hockey. If you are interested in participating in any of these sports, please come to the office to sign up this week.
Thursday’s Breakfast: Assorted Smoothies or Assorted Fruit Bread. Thursday’s Lunch: Mini Corn Dogs or Alaskan Pollock Fish Sandwich on a Whole Grain Bun, and Mixed Vegetables.
