We’re so close to the big shave! With $2,319.46 raised, we’re just $700 away from turning those seven heads shiny and smooth—let’s finish strong!

 

 

ACADEC Members: There will be a meeting tomorrow during lunch in Mrs. Baurichter's room.

 

 

NHS/Student Council Members: There will be a meeting during lunch on Wednesday in the library. Please let Ms. Schulz know if you cannot attend.

 

 

Forensics Members: We will meet on Tuesday during lunch in Ms. Baurichter's room!

 

 

FFA Fall Fundraising began on Wednesday at our chapter meeting. If you have not yet received your forms, please stop in to see Ms. Wohlrab to grab them. Fundraising sheets and payments must be turned in by the end of the school day on Monday, November 3rd. Happy Fundraising!

 

 

We are currently gauging interest in starting a Robotics Club. If you are interested in joining, sign up in the office by Wednesday, October 23. 

 

 

This Wednesday, October 22, let’s all wear ORANGE to celebrate Unity Day!

Unity Day, started by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center, is all about promoting kindnessacceptanceand inclusion. When we lead with empathy and respect, we help make our school a place where everyone feels they belong.

Let’s show our unity—wear orange and spread kindness!

 

Starting Monday, October 27, students who have no missing grades in JMC and maintain grades of C- or higher will earn the privilege of Honors Cardinal Time in the commons.

A few key details to remember:

· Grade checks will take place Wednesday at 3:16 to determine eligibility for the following week’s Honors Cardinal Time.

· Once the Honors Cardinal Time lists are finalized, students may not switch between their regular Cardinal group and the Honors group.

Enjoy the opportunity — keep those grades up and stay on top of your work!

 

Attention Students: Starting next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, you will be able to redeem your Cardinal Cards for a prize during the last 15 minutes of Cardinal Time from Mr. Miller if you are a high school student. If you are a middle school student, you can redeem yours with Mr. Regan on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday during the last fifteen minutes of Cardinal Time. A few of the various prizes you can redeem include 2 tickets to a game next year for the La Crosse Loggers, Loggers' baseball cap, Raising Cane's, Fazoli's, and McDonald's gift cards. 

 

 

On Saturday the high school cross country teams competed in their conference meet at Brookwood. The girls won their 3rd straight SBC Championship, led by Kenli Gollnick, Jaycee Michek, and Grace Olson all receiving 1st team all conference honors. Lily Mercer earned 2nd team all conference.  The boys team earned 2nd place in the conference, led by Grayson Truskowski earning 1st team all conference honors and Mason Peterson Gianunzio earning 2nd team all conference. The varsity teams run at sectionals in Durand on Saturday for a chance to compete at the state meet!

Tuesday’s BreakfastCaramel Mini Cinnis or Mini Cinnis. Tuesday’s Lunch: Pork Taco on a Soft Shell Tortilla or Cheese Quesadilla, Taco Topping Bar, and Refried Beans.
