NHS/Student Council Members: There will be a meeting during lunch tomorrow in the library. Please let Ms. Schulz know if you cannot attend.
NHS and Student Council will be hosting a blood drive on Wednesday, October 29th from 12:00 to 5:30. Students who are 16 years of age and meet the height and weight requirements are eligible to donate. Be sure to bring a photo ID with you and if you are 16, please come to the office for a parental permission slip. You can earn community service hours for your donation, a prize from a teacher of your choice, and all donors will be entered into a drawing to win prizes! See Ms. Schulz to make an appointment.
We are currently gauging interest in starting a Robotics Club. If you are interested in joining, sign up in the office by Wednesday, October 23.
Tomorrow, October 22, let’s all wear ORANGE to celebrate Unity Day!
Unity Day, started by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center, is all about promoting kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. When we lead with empathy and respect, we help make our school a place where everyone feels they belong.
Let’s show our unity—wear orange and spread kindness!
Starting Monday, October 27, students who have no missing grades in JMC and maintain grades of C- or higher will earn the privilege of Honors Cardinal Time in the commons.
A few key details to remember:
· Grade checks will take place Wednesday at 3:16 to determine eligibility for the following week’s Honors Cardinal Time.
· Once the Honors Cardinal Time lists are finalized, students may not switch between their regular Cardinal group and the Honors group.
Enjoy the opportunity — keep those grades up and stay on top of your work!
Any students interested in washing dishes at the elementary school are to see Mr. Wopat. You can either get paid or earn volunteer hours for working. Remember that you need to have a study hall 5th or 6th hour.
Bangor High School:
Bangor High School Winter Sports (Boys and Girls Basketball) meeting will be Tuesday, November 4th at 7:00 pm in the high school cafeteria.
Wednesday’s Breakfast: Bacon or Sausage, Egg, & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich. Wednesday’s Lunch:Hamburger, Cheeseburger or Build Your Own Chicken Tender Wrap, and Spiral Fries.
