ANNOUNCEMENTS
MONDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2025
Mrs. Baurichter's 6th-hour study hall will be in Mrs. Baurichter's room instead of in the library on Tuesday, October 28.
Students—please remember that walking or hanging out on the railroad tracks is not only illegal but extremely dangerous. The tracks and surrounding area are private property, and trains can come quickly and quietly. Even if you think you’d hear or see one coming, you may not have time to react.
For your safety and the safety of others, never walk, run, or take shortcuts on or near railroad tracks. Use sidewalks and designated crossings only. Let’s keep everyone safe—your life is worth more than saving a few minutes.
A representative from Winona State will be here tomorrow, October 28, and a representative from UWL will be here on Wednesday, October 29. Please sign up in the main office, or let Ms. Schulz know, if you would like to meet with one of them.
NHS and Student Council will be hosting a blood drive on Wednesday, October 29th from 12:00 to 5:30. Students who are 16 years of age and meet the height and weight requirements are eligible to donate. Be sure to bring a photo ID with you and if you are 16, please come to the office for a parental permission slip. You can earn community service hours for your donation, a prize from a teacher of your choice, and all donors will be entered into a drawing to win prizes! See Ms. Schulz to make an appointment.
