Starting second semester, juniors and seniors will have the opportunity to earn Cardinal Time Privilege. Students who have all work turned in and are earning a B- or higher in all classes may be excused from Cardinal Time on Mondays and Wednesdays.
This privilege is optional. If you prefer to remain in Cardinal Honors, you may do so. If you would like to participate in Cardinal Time Privilege, stop by the office to pick up a permission form. Both a parent/guardian signature and student signature are required before you can be added to the Cardinal Time Privilege list.
Please take time to carefully read the information on the form, as it explains eligibility requirements and checkout procedures. If you have questions, see Mr. Wopat.
Seniors: The deadline for Senior pictures (hallway, slideshow, yearbook) is this Friday, January 9! See the assignments in Google Classroom for details.
NHS and Student Council will be hosting a blood drive on Wednesday, January 14th from 12:00 to 5:30. Students who are 16 years of age and meet the height and weight requirements are eligible to donate. Be sure to bring a photo ID with you and if you are 16, please come to the office for a parental permission slip. You can earn community service hours for your donation, a prize from a teacher of your choice, and all donors will be entered into a drawing to win prizes! Please email Ms. Schulz to make an appointment.
There will be a Middle School Battle of the Books meeting in Ms. Guenther's room Thursday during lunch.
Please plan on Lunch in the Library tomorrow for Middle and High School Book Clubs. We'll eat together, talk together, and start planning for Blind Dating with a Book. Please consider attending even if you haven't yet joined-all are welcome!
9-12 graders who participate in Jumps, Hurdles and Sprints for Bangor Track & Field can sign up for a track camp at UWL. If interested see Coach Rampetsreiter for questions, spots fill up quickly so get signed up!
There will be a high school FCCLA meeting during lunch tomorrow in Ms. Hooker's room.
There will be a middle school FCCLA meeting during lunch on Thursday, January 8th in Ms. Hooker's room.
The Milwaukee Bucks have rescheduled their FCCLA Night to Friday, February 6th and are offering special tickets to FCCLA chapters. Tickets are $40 and include a 2 hour stadium tour in the afternoon, a break for dinner, then upper level seating during the game against the Indiana Pacers at 7pm. You do NOT need to be an FCCLA member to attend! Students, staff, and parents are welcome to sign up. If you have already signed up for the first time, please check in with Ms. Hooker to confirm you are still attending. Sign up is open until Friday, January 23rd. Please bring payment at time of sign up.
Middle Schoolers: This Friday is the Middle School Neon Dance at the Activity Center from 6-8pm! There will be dancing, games, concessions, prizes, and more. The cost is $5.00.
There is a middle school FFA meeting during middle school lunch on Friday.

Are you in need of community service hours? Our Bangor 6th Grade Girls' Basketball Team has a fun way for you to earn them. Saturday, January 17th, they will be having a tournament at home. They are need of 2-3 concession workers, and 2-3 for the scorers' table. First game is at 9 am, last game begins at 2:50. Please reach out to Mrs. Nicolai if you are able to work any or all hours!!
Bangor’s Got Talent is coming to the Bangor Activity Center on March 22, 2026, and we’re looking for amazing acts to take the stage! Auditions will be held January 29, 2026, at the B.A.C., with audition sign-ups opening January 5. All Bangor School District students in grades 4K–12 and district staff are eligible to audition by completing a pre-audition form and submitting any required music files to Mr. Jones by January 29. Selected acts will be notified on February 2, so start planning your performance now!
Wednesday’s Breakfast: Breakfast Burrito. Wednesday’s Lunch: Teriyaki Chicken with Seasoned Brown Rice or Sloppy Joe, and Peas & Carrots.
