Congratulations are in order!
We have two Bangor girls attending WIAA gymnastics state this weekend in Wisconsin Rapids.
The West Salem Coop Varsity team took second place at the Eau Claire Division 1 Sectional with a score of 139.0 and in doing so qualified for team state.
Four girls also qualified for individual state!
Bangor’s Camdyn Lyga won the floor with a score of 9.30. She also advances in vault and in the all around competition. Bangor’s Grace Olson qualified individually on beam.

Get ready for an afternoon of incredible performances and community fun! The Bangor School District and Bangor Music Backers are proud to present BGT 2026, showcasing the amazing skills of our students and staff.

Time: 1:00 PM (Doors open at noon)
Location: Bangor Activity Center
The Bangor Music Backers invite you to arrive early for a delicious meal featuring pulled pork and mac and cheese. While you eat, you can check out our:

We have a packed schedule of competing acts including:
Student Stars: The 3rd grade Fly Girls, Addi Wilcox, Alisa Vang, Amelia Brokopp, Amelia LeJeune, Asher Banks, Aubree Gilbertson, Drew Pederson, Jordan Sackmaster, Julianne Thielker, Kolby Huber, Liam Elsen, Lilly Olsen, Mason Peterson Gianunzio, Olivia Brokopp, Owen Larson, and Sophia Bushman.
Special performances from the 5th Grade Cardinal Choir, MS/HS A Capella, and the MS/HS Jazz Band.
District Staff performances by Mr. Wopat, Mr. Lueck, Dr. Brokopp as well as other district staff!
Ticket Information
Price: $5.00 at the door.
Kids: Children younger than school age are FREE with an adult.
Space is limited to the first 400 tickets sold, so don’t be late!
A special shout-out to a few of the sponsors helping to make this happen: La Crosse Community Theatre, Amanda’s Academy of Dance, Dave’s Guitar Shop, La Crosse Symphony Orchestra, and The Art Room.
