Ms. Nikolai's 4K class and Mrs. Brokopp's 3rd graders enjoyed time building together in the Discovery Lab on Wednesday. It is so fun to see our older and younger students working together!

In 8th grade Spanish students learned about Guatemalan Barriletes. Barriletes are built every year to keep away the bad spirits during All Saints Day. The construction of barriletes is a Mayan practice. To cap off the year, 8th graders got to build their own mini-barriletes and fly them outside!

Can’t beat a sunny day picnic! The students in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing program enjoyed a great one with multiple school districts present.

Check out these amazing artists from Mrs. Olson's Painting class. Students had to stretch their own canvas and then incorporate a smaller canvas in their landscape design. Students also had to use impasto and fan brush techniques.

The Harvest of the Month for June is Strawberry.

Bangor World History classes are raising awareness about genocide. There are ten stages of genocide at varying levels of severity—beginning with subtle acts like classification and symbolization, and escalating to dehumanization, persecution, and mass violence.
Genocide begins with words, stereotypes, and division. By understanding these ten stages, we can recognize early warning signs and work to prevent atrocities before they escalate.
