On Friday, May 3rd, the Bangor FFA partnered up with West Salem FFA for the annual Food for America Event. This tradition is an educational program that focuses on agricultural literacy and provides an outreach opportunity for FFA membership to teach local 4th graders all they know about ag! Attendees traveled to 4 different locations where they had the opportunity to learn about livestock, vegetable production, aquaponics, equine, and agricultural equipment. Special thank you to the West Salem Bangor FFA, A-R Line Dairy/Holthaus Family, Old Oak Family Farms, the La Crosse County Fairgrounds and all of the volunteers who help make this event happen year after year.
