If all goes as expected with the weather this week, the contractors will be making blacktop repairs in the elementary parking lot after school on Thursday and for the better part of the morning on Friday this week. On Thursday they will be prepping the area by digging down and creating the space for the blacktop. On Friday, buses only will be allowed through in the morning and blacktop will be poured to complete the repair. The parking lot should be open for afterschool traffic.
With that said, we ask that elementary families access the Elementary School from 14th avenue and MS/HS families access the MS/HS from 10th avenue. The road in front of the school will be closed Thursday afternoon and evening and will re-open for normal after school pick up. Foot traffic between the buildings will be allowed by entering the track area on the west end of the field and behind the press box.
Again, thank you for your patience as we get through these disturbances for the long term good of the district and community.
