The Bangor Elementary School has been spreading love and kindness in Paul Sadergaski's Mindfulness PE and Guidance classes to help the Make A Difference Club make over 400 hearts to be given to all Middle/HS students and staff. A special thank you to Brooke Lueck and her health classes for coordinating and distribution at the middle and high school to make this possible.
We also had some amazing volunteers to help with this project Karen Johnson, Myah and Seth Kenyon, Kelly Peterson, Shannon Runge, Joyce Schaller, Anna and Hazel Skonieczny, Steph Steiner, Jackie Wisinski and her college students who came to help Rachelle Kohlmeyer and Michaela Kramolis.
Thank you to our bus drivers for keeping us safe. Thanks Jeanette Carlson, Ron Copher, Mark Hansen, John Hundt, Dale Johnson, Dennis Piper, and Steve Weber!!

Attention Seniors!

Holiday Break
The holiday break for the Bangor School District will run from Friday 12/22/23 through January 1, 2024. School will resume on January 2, 2024 for all students.
During the break most district staff will be away while the contractors take advantage of the free space in both school buildings. In particular, a crane will be in place in front of the Middle/High School from December 26 – December 29. The road in front of the school will be closed 24 hours per day during this time for additional space needed to install roof trusses and roof decking on the new weight room facility. The crane will likely still be in place when we return from break but we do expect to have one lane of traffic open for busses before and after school. It would be best for families to plan to access the elementary from 14th Ave. and the MS/HS from 10th Ave. when we return from break.
From the entire School District staff, I wish the entire community a very happy holiday season!
David Brokopp Ph.D.
Bangor Superintendent
Our local Merrimakers crew raised funds, offered $200 grants to district staff. There were 3 winners! That money will go towards student experiences. Thank you for supporting our district!

Students worked with staff to bake and decorate cookies for the workers building our elementary addition. Great work students and staff!
