Bangor School District held a ceremony for Veterans Day with guest speaker Lieutenant Colonel Chad Maynard, Fort McCoy Deputy Garrison Commander. The Bangor VFW Post #8278 was presented with a 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee award. Thank you veterans.

High school drawing created neon Day of the Dead skulls, painting created glowing sea creatures and 8th grade art created glowing jack-o-lanterns. There are also a few independent projects as well.

On Wednesday, November 3, students in grades 6-12 will be participating in various community service activities in the morning - weather permitting. If you live in the Rockland or Bangor communities and would like your leaves to be raked and bagged please contact the school at 486-5200 or email rmuellenberg@bangorsd.net. If you are a business and would like some high school students to wash your windows please contact the school as well. We will also be picking up trash around town, school grounds, parks, cemeteries, and portions of the bike trail.
