Hillsboro has cancelled the middle school volleyball games for tonight due to a COVID related matter. The middle school volleyball team WILL NOT have practice tonight.
The Junior Varsity Football game scheduled for Monday, September 27th versus Royall is canceled. We will update you if another opponent can be found.
Some important information from the Village that may impact your route to and from school tomorrow and beyond:
EFFECTIVE TOMORROW 9/23/2021 - 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
Cty Rd U (Road to Rockland) will be a FULL road closure for the entire day. No traffic will be allowed through the construction. YOU WILL BE TURNED AROUND.
PLEASE USE ALTERNATE ROUTES BY either using Cty Rd B (over the Prairie) or Hwy 16 for all Bangor business.
Also, next Tuesday, September 28th, there will be a different traffic pattern as work is being completed near the 16th Avenue/Commercial Street intersection. All traffic that is going over the tracks will be directed to take 17th/Commercial Street (the new concrete section) while the Northside of 16th Avenue is being finished up.
Friday's football game has been changed to Spencer/Columbus Catholic. The game will be played at Spencer High School 300 School Street Spencer, WI 54479 at 7:00 PM.

Twenty years ago today, the United States and the entire world was rocked by the events of 9/11. The impact was felt well beyond, Washington D.C., New York City, and that open field in Pennsylvania. Alan Jackson soon released a song that asked us all to think about "where were you when the world stopped turning?" For 100% of our children in school, they were not yet alive. For all of our community that lived through this portion of our US history, it is our responsibility to tell the story of the brave men and women who gave their lives for others on that day.
Today, The Bangor School District honors the lives lost, the families broken, and the heroes made on that September day twenty years ago.
May they never be forgotten!
