The Bangor Volleyball team raised $1579.50 for our local Cancer support group Sunshine on the Trail. The team sold pink t-shirts, had basket raffles, and did a miracle minute collection during their volleyball matches on Oct 9th. In addition, the varsity team won both matches last night to New Lisbon and Necedah. All teams wore pink to show their support.

This October, the Bangor community is coming together to support our amazing teacher, Mrs. Adams, as she battles cancer!
Seven male staff members are putting their hair on the line — literally — to raise money to help offset the family's medical costs. Students and community members can contribute by putting money in the buckets in the main office from October 8 - 29. Buckets will also be out at this Thursday’s Volleyball Pink Night and the home football game against Hillsboro on Friday, October 17th.
Here’s how it works:
Each staff member has their own bucket — the teacher with the most money raised will shave his head!
Bonus challenge: If we raise $3,000 total, ALL SIX staff members will shave their heads!
The clippers will fly at an all-school assembly on Friday, October 31st. Community members are invited to attend to show their support as well.
Let’s show Mrs. Adams how much we care and make this a month to remember! Every dollar counts — together we can make a big impact!
