This is the first year Make a Difference Club has had enough of our own Perler bead hearts made to hand out to customers and employees at Hansen's. The reaction of people to the 5th graders saying "Merry Christmas" and handling their hearts is the beauty of the heart project. Changing people's days and lives one heart at a time. Thank you 5th graders for your giving hearts and acts of service to the community.

New Technology = New Opportunities for Bangor’s Tech Ed Department.
The School District of Bangor would like to thank First National Bank of Bangor for their recent purchase of a new CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) Router. This tool will allow students to create a multitude of different projects taking computer designed images and using the router to precisely carve them into their materials. From finished wood working projects, to cardboard prototypes, students using this technology will gain real world programming experience opening new pathways to learning and future employment. The support our community and business like First National Bank continue to provide for our students is incredible and greatly appreciated.
