On Friday, March 28th three of Mrs. Olson's Art students were recognized at the WAEA Youth Art Month celebration in Madison at East Towne Mall. 6th grade Stella Larson and 9th grade Sandra Yang received Honorable Mention and a gift bag full of art supplies for their Flag Designs. 7th Grade Wendy Yang was recognized for her "Tessellating Cats" which was awarded the WAEA (Wisconsin Art Education Association) Middle School Award. She also received a bag full of art supplies for this award.
Our community is so awesome! The Bangor/Burns Fire Department Family Auxiliary dropped off some much needed food supplies to support the Kids Backpack Food Program at Bangor Elementary. Thank you so much!
A huge shout out today to six amazing Bangor seniors who helped to make the the first show in the newly renovated Bangor Activity Center a huge success.
