Congratulations to our State Forensics 2023 participants.
Alycia Felch and Raeanna Keuler received a perfect score of 25 (gold medal) and Ella Hansen and Alexa Heitkamp both received a score of 23 (silver medal).

Bangor High School students have been fundraising for the Children's Miracle Network over the last 3 weeks. The fuel for students was the opportunity of a favorite pastime, dodgeball. Students and teachers donated to play, watch, or have a positive impact on the community. The dodgeball tournament was held on Friday, April 28th. Representatives from the Children's Miracle Network were present and the students were able to present a check for $1068.

On Thursday, April 27, 11 Bangor students participated in the first 7 Rivers Education & Training Day! The day started with students traveling to UWL for an Admissions Presentation, Student Panel Q&A, and Campus tour. After a lunch break, the group then headed to the Heider Center in West Salem to hear from a panelist of professionals in the following areas: Teacher, Administration, Student Services, Special Education, Paraprofessional, Human Resources, Information Technology, Food Service, Transportation, etc.
We look forward to how this future group of potential educators will change the world for the better!



Baseball and Softball scheduled at Royall today are cancelled.

Congratulations to Autumn, Brandon, and Carson for qualifying for the National History Day National Contest, and to Jeremiah for qualifying as a 1st Alternate! It's an incredible accomplishment! The National Contest takes place at the University of Maryland near Washington, D.C. in June.

Cody Petersen is the Trap Shooter of Week 1

On April 3-5, our Bangor FCCLA Chapter attended the WI FCCLA State Leadership Conference & Competition held at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells. While there, students attended breakout sessions, competitions, and community service opportunities to bring back to our chapter. Of the 16 students in attendance, six competed in various competition events.

Of our six competitors, Jeremiah and Alexa both qualified for the national competition held this summer in Denver, CO. On top of this, Reesa Wiggins was sworn into office as a WI FCCLA State Officer in the position of Vice President of Public Relations. She will also be attending the national conference to represent the entire state of Wisconsin. Overall, Bangor was well represented and our chapter had a wonderful time filled with friendship, learning, and leadership!

Bangor Booster Club Logo Design Contest

Our 8th grader Leadership team raised $600 this Spring to support Liliana Hedrick, a freshman at Sparta HS, with medical bills while she is fighting Leukemia.

Baseball vs Athens scheduled for Saturday, April 22nd at Bangor is cancelled.

Track, Baseball and Softball for today Thursday, April 20th are all cancelled.

Bangor High School is presenting their state bound honors recital on Friday, May 5th at 7PM at the Old Baptist Church in town. Come support our young musicians and hear musical selections from some of our state level qualifiers on the night before they perform these songs at the state festival at UW-La Crosse. There will be a small reception after the recital that all are welcome to attend.
Special thanks to the Bangor Historical Society for sponsoring this event and allowing us to use their space.

Yesterday, 15 of our Bangor High School students attended the Build My Future event at the Onalaska Omni Center, sponsored by the La Crosse Area Builders Association. This experience gave high school students the opportunity to spend a day in the skilled trades and related industries. Students experience activities provided by industry partners, including educational displays, equipment operations, games, and learning labs.
