Seniors Nora Tucker and Olivia Schroeder along with junior Megan Goede and 8th Grade students Abigayle Lexa and Kiera Cavadini have been selected from Bangor to represent the West Central Regional Youth Art Month show. The show will be in the gallery of the Marie W. Heider Center for the Arts in West Salem, WI.
The show will run from January 17th through February 27th, with a Public Reception on Saturday, February 25th from noon-2pm
Three students from each school will be selected to represent their school for the State Art Show held in Madison in March.




WAFER is having an abundant food distribution event Saturday 10-12.
Mrs. Olson’s Advance students have been working on portraits of the residents from RBI since their visit in late November. On Wednesday, Dec 21st they delivered their portraits. Buddy stopped by Bangor Elementary today to share a holiday story with our 4K and kindergarten students. So much fun!



A big THANK YOU to the Bangor Merrimakers who donated three $200 scholarships to teachers at the Bangor School District.



The 5th grade Make a Difference Club was out at Hansen's IGA ringing bell for Salvation Army. The community was happy to see these young leaders making a difference in their community!!


Tuesday's Girls Basketball game vs Arcadia will be broadcast on WWIS Radio 99.7 FM. Game time is 7:00 PM.

The B-Club raised $1000 for toys and an additional $400 for Gift Cards and delivered them to children and their families at Gundersen and Mayo Health Systems in La Crosse to help brighten their Holiday Season.

8th grade Leadership and the HS Vocal Jazz Choir spread some Holiday Cheer to the residents at the RBI house in Bangor.




The Boys Basketball games (ALL LEVELS) are cancelled this evening at Bangor due to Brookwood's school closings.

Bangor Schools will be starting 2 hours late on Thursday 12/15. We will monitor road conditions in the morning and may adapt as needed.

The January Harvest of the Month is Winter Squash

The Bangor Boys High School Varsity Basketball Team will be wearing throwback jerseys on Dec 15th vs Brookwood at Bangor. Fans are encouraged to wear throwback attire (jerseys, shirts, letter jackets etc.)



Over the course of the next two weeks, we will be having Holiday dress up days for middle/high school students and staff! Daily winners will receive a prize!


Mrs. Olson's Advanced Art students refurbished ukuleles by painting designs on them.
High School Ceramic/Sculpture students created paper mache' birds that are now on display outside of the art room.
