Student Council and NHS will be hosting a blood drive on Wednesday, December 18th from 12:30 to 5:30. This is an awesome chance to make a difference in up to 3 peoples' lives who need blood. Students who are 16 years of age and meet the height and weight requirements are eligible to donate. Be sure to bring a photo ID with you and if you are 16, please come to the office for a parental permission slip. You can earn community service hours for your donation, a prize from a teacher of your choice, and all donors will be entered into a drawing to win prizes! See Mrs. Schmitz to make an appointment.
The Middle School Student Council and 8th grade leadership are having a warm clothes drive. Please bring in new or gently used socks, hats, mittens, scarves, or any other warm clothes to your BIG Time. The BIG Time that brings in the most items between now and December 19th will get a prize!
Attention FFA Members:Fruit fundraising items are being delivered to the Old School today. Please make plans to pick up your orders after school or after practice.
The West Salem/Bangor Middle School Team wrestled in Sparta last Thursday and they dominated with a record of 31 wins and 5 losses. Undefeated wrestlers were Landon Buehler, Isaiah Murphy, Caleb Hemmersbach, and Cody Petersen. Congrats on an amazing night!
The high school wrestling team had a dual against La Crosse last Thursday as well and they won 48-26. Picking up key wins for the team were Bradyn Glasspoole, Carlyle Lyga, Zach Servais, Hunter Anderson and Evan Wolfe.
The high school wrestlers also went to Iowa on Saturday and came back still undefeated. They were able to compete and work together for the team to be successful. The team travels to Viroqua tomorrow for their first Coulee Conference dual.
Today’s Lunch:Grilled Chicken Breast Sandwich on a Pretzel Bun or Taco Triangles with Salsa & Sour Cream, and Redstone Potatoes. Tuesday’s Breakfast: Mini Pancakes. Tuesday’s Lunch: Turkey Pot Roast in Gravy with a Buttermilk Biscuit or Homemade Sloppy Joe on a Whole Grain Bun, and Mashed Potatoes.
